Introduction
This Necromancer build is focused on summoning an army of minions to deal vast amounts of AoE (Area of Effect) damage. The Summoner Necromancer is capable of dispersing any danger throughout all Fractured Peaks content and beyond. In this build guide, we will go over the mechanics, character progression, and playstyle!
Decompose is used as the main source for Corpse and Essence generation, while also enhancing the Necromancer’s army. Enhanced Skeletal Minions are going to deal damage to any enemy in sight, wiping out surrounding danger, while Corpse Tendrils will add additional damage through Corpses without consuming them. Any remaining enemy can then be finished off with Corpse Explosion.
Please keep in mind that everything in this article is subject to change because it was written ahead of the SERVER SLAM Beta.

Playstyle
In this build, the Necromancer fights alongside their army of Skeletal Warriors and Mages. By using Decompose on enemies, Corpses and Essence are generated. Followed by Blood Surge for extra area damage, and healing if needed. Corpse Tendrils are then summoned from the corpses for maximum damage, while Corpse Explosion finishes off any remaining foes. The Skeletal minions are a powerful company to have and fight on the Necromancer’s side, dealing a wide amount of AoE (Area of Effect) damage.
Damage Rotation
- Cast Decompose on enemies to create bodies.
- Summon Skeletal Warriors (Summoning Skill )
- Use Blood Surge for area damage and to get back life if needed.
- Then Corpse Tendrils and then Corpse Explosion to finish off remaining foes.
Resource Generator Rotation
- Spam Decompose to generate more Corpses and then kill decomposed enemies for Essence.
- Consume Corpses for more Essence regeneration with the Grim Harvest passive talent.
Book of the Dead
The Book of the Dead (Specialization of the Necromancer that will unlock at Level 5) gives bonuses to minions or sacrifices them for bonuses to the player.
To maximize damage output during leveling, for the Summoner Necromancer:
- At Level 5, activate the first Skeletal Warrior Skirmishers, and select the upgrade that allows to raise one additional Skirmisher Warrior.
- At Level 15, activate the Skeletal Shadow Mages, and select the upgrade granting the Mages a 10% chance to Stun. You can later exchange them for Cold Mages, to have a Freeze instead of a Stun, or to generate more Essence (first node).
Codex of Power
The Flesh-Rending Aspect can be unlocked in the Codex of Power by completing various activities within the Fractured Peaks. Visit the Occultist to imprint this aspect onto an item to gain 10 Essence after Decompose spawns a Corpse. Can be imprinted on a Helm, Ring, and Amulet. An amulet is a good choice for imprinting Aspects since the effects gain +50% bonus.
